When should I use Multi-Building Quote?
Multi-Building Quote is designed for properties with multiple structures that need to be measured in a single order. Common use cases include:
- Apartment complexes and multifamily communities
- Office parks and commercial campuses

- Shopping centers and retail plazas
- Church campuses and school districts
- Industrial parks and warehouse facilities

If you need measurements for more than one building at the same property or across multiple addresses, this is the right tool.
How does pricing work for similar building types?
You only pay per unique building type — not per building. For example, an apartment complex may have 32 buildings, but if only 7 are structurally unique, you're only charged for those 7 unique measurements.
Simply place a pin on every building you need and we'll determine how many are structurally unique. Our team analyzes the distinct roof configurations across your property and only charges for each unique type. The report then maps which buildings share the same design, so you get full coverage without paying for duplicates.
This can save you significantly on larger properties — no guesswork needed on your end.
What file formats are available?
We offer three format options to match your workflow:
- ESX + PDF — Xactimate® sketch file plus a detailed PDF report. Best for insurance adjusters and contractors using Xactimate
- XML + PDF — XML data file plus a PDF report. Ideal for integration with estimating software that accepts XML imports
- PDF Only — A comprehensive PDF measurement report. Perfect for general contractors, roofers, and property managers
How quickly will I receive my reports?
Turnaround time depends on the number of unique buildings and the report format selected. Most multi-building orders are completed within 24–48 hours. Orders with fewer than 5 unique buildings in ESX or PDF format often qualify for same-day delivery.
If you have an urgent deadline, mention it in the special instructions and our team will do everything we can to accommodate your timeline.
Do I need to place a pin on every single building?
Yes — pin every building you need measured. Don't worry about figuring out which ones are unique. Our team will review your order, identify the structurally unique building types, and only charge you for those.
You can drag pins to reposition them and use the building list in the sidebar to review your selections. If you have any notes about the property layout, add them in the special instructions.
What if I need help with a large or complex property?
We handle properties of all sizes — from a small office park with 3 buildings to large apartment communities with 100+ structures. For very large or complex properties, reach out to our team directly and we can provide a custom quote and dedicated support.
